Christmas in Acorns.

Christmas in Acorns.

Christmas is always such a special time in school. They love getting their room ready for their "concert" and then practising their songs. All the chats and the buzz about Santa make this time with the children so magical.

I can still hear Cullen belting out the tunes during our practice times!!

Peader the Hedgehog

Peader the Hedgehog

Yvonne from Hedgehog Rescue Dublin and her spiky pal Peader paid us a visit back in Dec. We learnt that they are lactose intolerant and bread also makes them sick. Cat food is your only man! Also they really do sleep all Winter (no food or drink) and Yvonne reckoned most of the gardens in Tayleur's point have one during hibernation!

Recycling after Christmas!

Recycling after Christmas!

Recycling is a big deal in our class. Everyday the kids recycle and wash out their pots after lunch. Then we keep a big bag of all things recycled and turn it into "stuff". Super for their imagination and hopefully we have a future generation who will care for their planet. Top kids!
